I have the Honker setup and use the same coupler I used prior on the LS6 setup. I had to make a few tweaks like sanding down the OD of the Nick Williams throttle body and carving/sanding a radius on the coupler but it fits fine. I think the TB is at a slight angle on the FAST compared to the LS6.

Actually, not sure how badly it is contacting the hood but I don't think I have seen any intake not put a dent in the hood pad. My Vararam did and now my Honker has too. I wouldn't be surprised if the stock unit would as well, but it didn't last long on my car so I couldn't comment on that
its not the intake but the rubber coupler from the intake to the TB. i dont know where i got it but it has a big ridge on it and that hits the hood. i was just wondering if i could get another rubber coupling somewhere that fits the 90 tb
My coupler is just a smooth silicone tube that has no "bumps". These are available just about everywhere with "Corvette tax" included, for about $40. I got mine when I bought a used Halltech airbridge, and still had the stock TB. It easily fit the LS2 TB when I changed it though.
