T'stat part number?
I have a two piece t'stat and I got the wrong t'stat from LAPD. I was told it was a 06 LS2 style pump but the stat that got sent was a one piece design and it doesn't fit. I ordered a Hypertech stat for the 06 design and its not correct. Anyone?

Who told you it was an '06 LS2 style pump? Is it still a stock LS1 engine? The stock LS1/6 has a thermostat that comes with a new housing that the stat is already mounted in. Is that what you mean by "two piece"?

The shop that did the install said it was for a 06 style pump. If you've had a One piece style apart then you'd know what I mean. The two piece styles is just like the old chevy style with just the t'stat replacement available. The One piece style I consider is the t'stat and water neck are combined. You buy one and you get a whole new unit.
