Default Need a flycutting tool???

I think I remember hearing you can get them from Autozone? I can not find the threads that talk about the procedure so am unable to find where to get the tool? Thanks for the help in advance.

Here is one source, I'm sure there are others.

I highly doubt you'll find the tools at Autozone.

I think LG rents out the cutting tools and a head to use as the guide. You will want to use an old stripped head (with good guides) to do this job - I wouldn't suggest using a new head that you plan to run.

You can get a basic idea of the procedure from this thread I made earlier this year when I flycut mine:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1670586

I bought the cutting tools, but gave them to a friend for some favors owed. If you have access to an old head, it doesn't cost much more to just buy the tools than it is to rent them, especially if your setup is like mine, where only the intake valve needs relief.

Point me to your friend, maybe he will let me rent for a decent price? I hate to pay LG all that money to rent and dont want to buy as I will never use again ya know.
