Default No Start/long cranking/dash light issues

Friends 01 has the following: Long cranking b/4 start sometimes, other times just clicks like a dead battery. When it does fire up, "low power", Service ABS and Active Handling lights up on dash including the Check Engine Light.
Thought bad battery and replaced it and it still has the same indications. Suspected grounds but they all look good and the terminals within the plugs (Grd) are clean and no corrosion.
Any ideas?

A couple of possibilities:

1) Was old battery leaking? Any damage under battery from acid?

2. Try putting in nuetral to start, the park start switch could be out of position/bad.

3) Are terminals on the starter tight?

Have him pull codes and list them here.

Thanks for the info- I had him clean off the key with alcohol, check his ground terminals, and check the neutral (clutch) switch. He reports everything is working as should be now after cleaning the key and ignition.
Thanks again for quick response and it's great to be able to count on knowledgeable people on this site-
