RevXtreme Pulstar Test.
First a little background:
We have a totally enclosed, inground, climate controlled Dynojet chassis dyno so we can come very close to duplicating the conditions for each pull during the test. We will work to duplicate oil temps as well as the dyno enviroment.
After posting our offer to test the plugs Enerpulse contacted us & offered to send us two sets of the Pulstar plugs to do comparison testing on the dyno.
We will use a heads/cam C5 already tuned with brand new NGK TR55 plugs as the first vehicle, and a bone-stock un-tuned C6 or C5 for the other vehicle. The bone stock car should be the best platform for testing only the plugs as a mod with no tuneing, as I expect most potential customers for these plugs will be every day driver vehicles w/out custom tuneing or other mods. The Heads/Cam car is for most of us here on the Corvete Forum.
The plugs arrived just as promissed from Enerpulse and after reading the info & communicating with their engineer, I am open minded enough to conduct the test's to answer the questions we all have, can & do they work.
We will have the RevXtreme TV crew film the tests & if possible have a webcast live when this is done. If unable to stream it live, it will be posted so all can view it. We intend to do the test the end of this week, but as it will take the dyno for the entire day, our customers come first & it may be delayed until next week.
I ask all to stay tuned and watch for updates & results, we are looking forward to see the results and to make this as fair as possible.
Thanks for everyone's patience

Do they say if the increased flame requires different timing at the higher levels of horsepower? I can see them causing detonation on a car that is tuned on the edge of timing limits. The increased flame and travel speed could require less timing but thats always a good thing.

[/IMG]Too many pics on photobucket and a bad case of dyslexia.
Here are a the ones that I meant to post up.

[/IMG]These look and feel awsome, very well made. I am impressesd with the craftmanship so far.
Stay tuned for the performance testing.
