Well I was driving today and the AC shut off and when I hit the button it blinked and just went off, so I was thinking well WTF??? maybe the belt came off or the compressor dies or something. Anyways I noticed the displayed said EXT 9F it seem for what ever reason the AC thought it was 9 degrees outside when in reality it was 85. well then it raised and once it went above 60 the AC popped on on it's own then it (the outside temp indicator) starting dropping once it hit 45 the AC turned off again. When I first start the car it indicates a false low outside temp, then raises and drops again I only took a 20 minute trip so I'm unsure of the cycle meaning I don't know if I just drove for hours if it would just cycle up and down. For the record it would always say something like 68, or the actual temperature. The car had been sitting in a garage for about 36 hours.
Any Idea where is the offending sensor can it be replaced? Im going to bed ill check back tomorrow after work.
