I have a 99 coupe. I purchased the filter from the dealer which has the built in fuel regulator. Is there anything I need to do special to replace the filter.
Thanks In Advance.

Either let the car sit overnight to bleed off the fuel pressure or relieve the pressure up front at the fuel rail schrader valve. Go to any parts store and pick up a set of quick connect tools. The sets usually have all the sizes from 1/4" to 1/2" (or 3/4"). You'll need one to release one quick connection fittings on the old filter. The other two are squeeze and release types, no tool necessary. Lastly, I would recommend you put a drop of clean engine oil on each nipple on the filter just prior to re-connecting them to the fuel lines. There are o-rings inside that should have a little lube to ensure a good connection.
Pretty easy job really. A little messy from some of the spilled fuel that's going to happen, but hey just keep some clean rags nearby and your good to go.
