Default Belt busted...HELP

So tonight on way home I heard a weird noise on acceleration. Suddently no power steering/heat/battery level dropped and engine temp skyrocketed. Opened hood and there's a belt snapped and frayed. Now question is, Is there only 1 belt? And is it just one I can get at Schucks? I looked at website and it saw this:
Vehicle: 1999 CHEVROLET CORVETTE
Engine: V8 5.7 Liter FI

Serpentine Belt: Poly-V; Alternator And Power Steering

I'm assuming this is what I need?

Any autoparts store.....
AutoZone, Advance, NAPA, PEPBOYS, CARQUEST etc etc

GoodYear GatorBack is the most used here The gator back will set you back $24-$35 depending on wher eyou buy it
At Autozone it's
Part Number: 4060798
Weight: 0.393 lbs.

Note: Poly-V alt & P/S
Unique Gatorback rib design reduces noise and extends life by reducing heat build-up

but GATES and DAYCO are fine buyu the better ones with th elifetime guarantee.

see what caused it to bust before you install a new belt check your crank pully first or that something is not locked up

You had better take it to the dealership, questioning such simple things lead me to believe that mechanics aren't your forte'

That's good advice... The Goodyear Gatorback, 4060798 is a greta belt. far exceeds the OEM AC Delco

yes there are two belts.... but the smaller is only for the Air conditioning...
if he experienced this...Suddently no power steering/heat/battery level dropped and engine temp skyrocketed.
then the broken belt is the one I referenced...
BUT if you point is while there... also get the A/C belt and change it....

Ya I think it's def. the one on top that connects the alt/power steering. I'm headed to the parts store to buy the gatorback. Thanks for your help.

Maybe his belts have not been changed in 73000 miles thats why it broke.....Replace them both... The top one is easy but the bottom one is a little harder.....

Thanks for all your advice. I changed the top one last night and everything is running great. Noticed the bottom one was harder to get to. Will have to tackle that one a bit later

Now onto researching the site about headlight stuck up....sigh....

Just think of this as a "bonding experience" with your car.
