harmonic balancer install?
ook the new slp balancer came in and now i need to install it--- how do i go about doing this, what needs to come off for me to have enough room-- or dose any one know a write up on how to do this step by step (pics are helpful).

Well, you can use LS1howto.com and follow the appropriate steps, BUT, I don't like using the original bolt to push on with the puller and you should make a re-installation tool prior to starting this so you can install the new pulley without using a bolt. The bolt can easily damage the threads, do a search and you will see. Last one I did used an appropriately size socket (1-1/4 I think) and I made a 1/4" solid washer out of 1-1/4" bar stock to put against it and push on with the center bolt of the puller. That way the crank threads never get used. Here is a puller you can make for under $20.
