Default Fuel Pressure ?

I've had some starting issues-car will crank over several times, then if you turn key back and try again, it will fire immediatley. First, I had a new fuel pump/filter installed, but it still did the same thing. I had the fuel pressure checked this morning, it had good fuel pressure, but as soon as you turn the engine off, it loses ALL pressure. I am assuming this is not normal and it should hold pressure, correct?, hence the reason why it cranks, cause all the pressure is leaking? So, does anyone have any ideas where the leaks or vavles or what to check next?
Thanks

The most likely cause of these symptoms are a faulty rear fuel feed pipe. There is a built in check valve (not replaceable separately). It's the check valve that has failed. The rear fuel feed pipe is connected to the output of the left fuel tank, travels upwards and then "Y's" off with one branch going to the right fuel tank and the other branch going directly to the fuel filter. The cost of the "pipe" (it's constructed of nylon tubing) is nominal; maybe $65-75 through one of the forum vendors, but is a bit of a PITA to install without kinking it. If you're not prepared to get under the car and do the necessary work to install it, it's better left to a shop. At least they can get your car on a lift for much easier access.

I just had this EXACT problem corrected last week at the dealer (thanks GMPP). I thought fuel pressure regulator, but it was the feed pipe.
