So I recently replaced my oil gauge because of a disasterous bezel install gone horribly wrong.
Everything went well and the guages work but after working on the car the next time I went to start the car the battery was dead.
I charged the battery let it sit for a bit and turned off and restarted with no issues.
I ensured no lights were left on and now 4 days later the battery is dead again.
Is there a chance I screwed something up or did i need to really let the car run for awhile before turning it off (even though it fired right up after)?
Batteries do fail. Take the batter out of the car, have it fully charged and then tested at Advanced Auto or AutoZone. When you reinstall the battery, the terminals must be torqued to 11 ft/lbs!

Thanks it is a newer battery (1 year old) so I'm really thinking I did something when replacing the dash...hmm.
