column lock gremlin got me, doh!!

column lock gremlin got me, doh!!
locked up on me twice today. i was able to get it unlocked both times by jerkin the steering wheel back and forth hard. i have an appointment at 7 am at the chevy dealership in the morning. guess i am gettin lucky

If you do a search, you will see the dealership is incapable of fixing this problem, and it will come back. Get a Column Lock Bypass from either Corvettes of Houston or Thunder Racing.

already had it serviced this morning. says they used a lock 2.195 and harness k 2.195. was done in like 2 hours or so.
i am going up to ECS next week for some upgrades, maybe they can put the permanent fix in.

I've only had my '02 for 7 weeks now but I got my CLB (Corvettes of Houston) installed last weekend. The install was very easy and I now have peace of mind- thanks to all the warnings I've read on this forum.
