Default Lower question? Please help!!!

Hello fellow members,
I tried to lower my car using the stock bolts today, but I was only half successful. The back worked out great, but the front actually went up  . This is what I did: I turned the black screw that has a retaining clip on top clockwise (as advised due to reverse threads.) I narrowed the gap between the exposed threads on the bolt. When I was done there was only 2 threads left before the retaining clip just like the rear. I simply jacked the car up at a friends garage, and turned the screw in (clockwise) from the top. What went wrong? :( Please help.... Do I just turn the screw the other way (counterclockwise?) If so, will it eventually bottom out or do I have to count the threads? As always, I appreciate everyones expert help...

I am pretty sure you turned them the wrong way! Just go back and turn the front bolts the other way, until they bottom out. The back you should leave 2 or 3 threads and the front just tighten them until they stop. Good luck!

Yeah, he's right, I think you turned them backwards. They are reverse threaded, so they go the opposite way you turned the back ones. Yeah, just bottom them out and you'll be fine.

After you're done just remember to watch out for those steep driveways!

Good luck,

Chance.
