That is the typical side cover o ring seal leak,and I assume it is from the left side in that it is more common than the right...See if you can get them to replace the cover itself in that it appears that the left covers were not machined properly in that they all leak at the 8 oclock position on the cover past the cover o ring...Make sure anarobic sealer or GM GASKET MAKER (they no what it is,synthetic oil eats silicone sealer dont use it) is applied in a thin 1/8" bead to the cover sealing surface or it will leak again...The sealer is excellent for machined aluminum surfaces in that it creates a seal when oxygen is not present :yesnod:

I find this interesting. Is synthetic used from the factory? Is silicone used? Just curious as I was thinking of changing my fluids to Redline, but if the unit is sealed from the factory with something that is not compatible, then I will leave well enough alone.
