I have a 03, C5 with 4800 miles. It is not driven much. I started to drive it and the clutch will not release completely. When in gear and the clutch pedel is on the floor it still wants to pull. I have driven it several miles using the clutch a lot. It is hard to shift and some times I have to stop the engine to get it in 1st or reverse. I have it at the dealer now and they don't know. They are dropping the ex and inspection cover. This has me worried. The pedal doesn't stick like others in some forums talk about.
Not an expert, but had a similar problem this weekend with my car.
My clutch pedal would stay on floor but clutch would engaged. Car would move. Even when I pulled clutch pedal with my foot car kept going!! Had to turn off car to shift into gear and when I started motor car would move!!
My brother, who is good with cars, believes either the master cylinder or slave cylinder went out hence the lack of hydraulic pressure.
Got a call yesterday from the dealer who has my vette. The pressure plate is bad. The cam that does the auto adjustment will not hold the adjustment. It has to have a complete clutch and flywheel. $1660 for parts. So much for OE quality. Thanks for the aftermarket. GM is helping out though it is out of warranty.

At 4800 miles?? I would be a little suspicious of the diagnosis, but I'm not a clutch wiz. I would suspect that the slave is bad or plugged up with gunky fluid which may mean pulling the car apart anyway. If I were you I would call a specialty shop in your area for another opinion. good luck!
