anyone experiancing "poping" noise on deccleration after xr-1 installed? :confused:

Oh yea !
Most of the time it sounds good to me -- like 2nd gear coming down a hill or up to a stop light.
Some exhausts have real sharp loud pops -- mine is lower and muffled.

Is yours the old XR-1 or new ?

It's a used set, just want to find out if this is normal or not,thz for the input :)

At the SEMA show , I spoke with a Borla guy who said the newer XR-1's are smaller in diameter , both pipe and tip. It makes for a little quieter running and easier to install he thought.

I like my older set !
