I believe camber is the spec that will most likely be out. I lowered mine on the stock bolts early last spring. I put 500 miles on it to settle the suspension and then had it aligned. The car felt very darty after that alignment and had it aligned again. After that alignment the car seemed to track very nicely but last fall I noticed the inside treads were cupping. I had it aligned this spring and the cupping has spread to next inside line of treads. Taking it in this week for an alignment, it'll interesting to see what the spec printout says from this alignment compared to the printout from the spring alignment.
Camber and Toe,
When the camber goes out of specs it can throw off the toe.
When doing an alignment the camber gets set first and the toe last.
Camber and toe are the settings that determine tire wear.
There is a plus or minus factor involved when doing an alignment.
Using the stock bolts to lower won't make that huge of a difference. That it causes tire wear. It is still a good thing to have
it checked. It is when you slam them to the ground that you could cause camber not to be aligned by specs.
