Where do you guys get these plugs? I've tried locals from Autozone to NAPA and no luck. NAPA says the TR55 is an obsolete part #but their computer doesn't show which current NGK plug is good for a '99. thanks
Plug changes will be more often that with platinum plugs. Typically this is every 10,000 miles or so. The problem with platinum is, they are not geared to the high performance market, only to longevity. The infamous "puck falling off" problems are very common.
The wires are really no better than stock. They are a much cheaper that stock alternative to replacing your wires. They look great and fit great also. :)
Let me know if I can help.
Thanks,
I got my TR55's at CarQuest for $1.38 a plug. He also mentioned that they did not cross reference with the Corvette. Just incase you want to do it this weekend.... :jester
