Getting the mod fever
An aftermarket converter will turn your car into a completely different animal and it will feel like you've gained 50+ horsepower. NO other mod, excluding power adders, will do as much for your car as a new converter. I'd suggest either the Yank C5 3000 or the Yank C5 Super Street 3200. I'm most likely going to go with the 3000 this spring. I found that, with the SS, the 2800 was great, but not enough after awhile and that the 3500 was a little too loose for my tastes. The two mentioned above are both good, "middle of the road" choices yet are vastly superior in performance to the stock converter.
Good luck with your choice!

If you've got mod fever, don't look at my sig! :D
Seriously, I'd start simple because this process is so much fun and it never really ends.
There are A LOT of advantages to changing your exhuast system. I know my Corsas flow 50% better than the stock 00 muffler. The tone is remarkably better too.
There's a method to my fever. I start with a system and complete it before I move on to something else. You could for instance start with your exhaust system and do LT Headers, High Flow cats, X-pipe and Corsas like I did.
I've taken care of all the air restrictions on my car. She also screams like a scalded cat!! :D  :D
My next project will be Gears and Tires.
Good Luck!
