Default Intake/Heads/Cam= HP?

How much RWHP will i be at in my 97 M6 with a vararam intake, borla cat back, ls6 heads port and polished, weiand intake port and polished to match, msd wires and ngk iridum plugs? Ive got the heads and manifold at the mechine shop and should be getting it back in a week. Just wondering if anyone is running the same set up? thanks

If u wanna win Car Shows Keep the Weiand ,If u wanna go Fast & Obtain the most Rwhp For your setup ,Ditch the Weiand & Put a Ls6 Intake on ,Jmo ,The intakes not gonna allow the motor to breathe as much as if u were to have on the Ls6 Allthough u do have it port matched to your heads ,I dont know ,we all would be guessing ,why dont u take it to the dyno & have them Tune it & Let us know how u did

ive read a few post on the weiand manifold, some good some bad. I just figured it cant be that bad with a name like lingenfelter on it. Thats just my thoughts, they guy doing all the work said its a good manifold and i didnt purchess it from him so i know he wasn't just trying to make a sale. thanks for the advice i'll have to look into it a little more.

I also don't care for the Weiand. The way to go is a Ported Fast 90. As for your numbers, it depends on the size of your cam.

I think it depends on what your going for. I have a 228/230 112 and love it. It has some lope and doesn't lose the power in the lower RPM range like most of the larger cams do. GKE suggested a 224/228 114 which is the largest cam us in CA can use and still pass smog. I would talk to your tuner and tell them what your goals are and how you plan on driving the car, and then make a decision.

if you don't dyno and tune, you won't get the max , you'll just be bench racing
