Default Cd player How do you change it?

My cd player in my 97 coupe wont play cds. It just says err and kicks them out. I have tried a cd cleaner disc but no help so I guess I will have to install a new radio cd player. I ont know how to get the thing out! The center dash- console is the question? How does it come out?
any help is appreciated

There are a few torx screws. One behind the temp sensor near the ign. One in the ash tray area. Two bolts under the tranction control panel and you must slide back the armrest, which has two bolts under two covers on the insdie.

Go to the audio section's FAQs they have a full write up with pics. Very easy DIY.

The radio is plug and play.

Good luck, any questions PM me.

Are you using copied CDs by any chance?

ya normally the CD's need to be on a CD-R formatted disc and if your using CD-RW formatted discs it isn't gonna go over so well with normally any stock head unit
