Which product should we use to lube injector o-rings?

I used sparkplug boot diaelectric grease... an extremely small amount. I placed the goo on a shop rag, then thinned it out on the rag. Then applied the residue - on the rag - wiping it into the casting injector cavity.

The GM service manual says to use clean engine oil to lubricate fuel injector O rings before installation.
Kind of amazing the different answers you get....isn't it?
