Default Plugging brake lines to remove calipers

Planning on rebuilding my calipers this off season. What's the best way to plug the brake lines so I don't drain all the fluid out?

There are special small clamps that clamp the flex line. I can't think of their proper name.

Most parts stores will have brake flex line clamps. You can also get them from Summit Racing.

They'll work with braided lines?

Seems like it'd be a good idea to flush the entire system and start with fresh, clean fluid after a caliper rebuild.

Here's what I did. I made some little 1"X1" blocks of oak and then took an old inner tube and made some 1"X1" patches. Then I sandwich the robber against the banjo fitting, wood block on top and then a C-clamp to squeeze it together. Won't leak at all. For the car, you need 8 blocks and patches, plus four small clamps. I use them all the time when doing calipers on any of the cars to keep the system from draining down and air getting in.
