He wrote that the C5 is very fussy about alternators and it is ofter best to have your old one re-built ....
the computer checks for certain volts/amps/ohms and if the one you have isn't right it won't work.

Have yours rebuilt by an alternator/starter shop!That way, your guarenteed to have the correct one.
