I used Dope's install writeup as a guide and it was a pretty easy job. Just alot of stuff that needs to come out before you get to the clutch.

This is a job you can do by yourself...mostly. Getting the torque tube, tranny, and diff back in will definately require a 2nd pair of hands. Oh, bleeding will also take another person.

Make sure you order the updated hydraulics and a pilot bushing. I also highly recommend the Textralia clutch.

If you ever need a hand let me know. I only charge beer.

Time consuming job, yes, but not that hard to do. I did myself on jackstands in the driveway. Just take your time and label the parts in baggies as you take them off.

A Clutch Job is about the only thing that I am going to pay to get done... I can do just about everything myself, but because there are so many nice clutch packages that include installation, I'm going to spend the extra cash and not deal with it. This is providing there are reputable corvette shops around your area.. I have Cartek, ESC, Vette Doctors to name a few..

However, if you are still going to do it yourself, I think Both of the said write ups are awesome and if you follow them to the T, it should all go very well.. Good Luck

Yea, the way I look at it, I can afford a Z06 so I can certainly afford to have someone install a after market clutch for me.

Did mine in the garage, but my floor is carpeted so it was a cushy job

Remote bleeder is a must.

Well, that really helped the OP.

Thanks for sharing how wealthy you are. Or is it that you just dont know your way around a wrench?

One thing I did which was immensely helpful, when I got to the point of sliding out the drive train I moved it to the point where the torque tube input shaft was just out of the bellhousing. I set up a carpenter's laser level and made two marks on the bottom of the torque tube. I used the measurement to re-establish the angle going back together when I reassembled. See the attached link:
