Service Traction Control Soon
My cousin has a 2001 z06 it has 46000 miles on it, the car is very well maintained. He tells me he got a service traction control soon message with no codes on the DIC. He turned off the car and restarted it cleared the DIC and has not had a problem since this happened Friday. Has anyone else had this happen is this just Gremlins or should he look into it further?

I had the same problem, but I inspected the suspension to see if there was anything odd or damage, every thing looked fine. and just like most chevys the get fixed by themselves. It has been four months and that message has not come back.

This message can come up from a very weak battery also. I had it once (2001 also) and it did not come back for nearly a year. Then it came back and stayed so I had the EBTCM rebuilt ... easy fix

Thats an unusual message. Are you sure it was ".....soon"?
There are a number of AH and TCS messages but normally they throw codes which tie down where the problem lies. There are quite a few components to the system and you really need a code to trouble shoot.
