headlight door operation
hey may name is brian i just picked up a 2000 coup and whenever i start the vehicle the headlights pop up.i tried switching the twilight setting to off and the dic is not letting me. anyone pleaseeeeee help. thanks

Are they popping up even in the daylight? On the DIC display does it have twilight listed as being on? It's just a thought but you might try disconnecting the battery for a bit to reset all systems then going in to turn your twilight off. Hope you figure it out...

Do you have anything sitting on your dash, over the light sensor?
You could have a Canadian C5, does your speedometer go up to 300 mph? If so, you have a Canadian car (or at least someone switched the gauges). I don't think Canadian C5's can turn off twilight settings, something to do with daylight driving lights.
