I live in Baltimore and I`m looking for a body shop that does good glass work. I have 2 spots on the passenger side rear wheel well that have small cracks in the fiberglass from someone bumping into the car. Also have 2 spots below the drivers door that look like it was fixed by a couple kindergarteners. Color isnt even close to matching. Sorry if this isn`t the correct forum, but I`ve had good luck here

I don't have any recommendations for a good body shop, but I think Tony's Corvette Shop could probably point you in the right direction. Good luck.

Tony's is OK. I went to him when I lived I Gaithersburg.

The rear quarters are probably cheaper to replace than repair since they come off easily. There is usually tons of them at Vette shows with no damage and real cheap. The problem with crack repair is eventually you WILL see the repair. The repair material will shrink over time showing the repair in just the right light (unless the car is white-you can hide pretty awful bodywork with a white car). And you really need to repair cracks from both sides to have a good repair.

I'm originally from Baltimore. I use to live in Dundalk for the first 21 years of my life! Wish I could point you in the right direction! If you want to visit CT I have a FANTASTIC body shop contact!

Good LUCK

Thanks Bill. Wish you were still familiar with the area since I`m only 3 miles from Dundalk. Not sure what I`d do in Ct while they were fixing my car!

I just figured out something that may help you. Google Baltimore Corvette Clubs and there are some hits. Contact the clubs and see who they have had good results from!

Here are some I found.

http://www.baltimorecocorvetteclub.com/

http://www.freestatecorvette.com/benefits.aspx

Hope you have positive results. The clubs should have some very dood recommendations.
