My first mod - soon after picking her up. Simple. Just jack the rear up on jackstands, unplug the connector from the driver's side of the tranny, plug the cap into the tranny and plug the main GAGS defeat body into the CAGS connector. Tie the wire up with zip ties and you're done.
I am anxiously awaiting mine from LGMOTORSPORTS. I don't know how you can stand drivng the car without it. I have been almost rear ended because of the stupid thing several times. :mad
Definatly worth having and as previously mentioned install is pretty easy, just jack up the rear, support it for safety then slide under near the rear tranny and install.
If you hit approx 3000rpms on the first shift however you will not have to deal with this issue since it only kicks in in low rpms 1st shift.
I always shift past 2200 rpms once the engine is warm, so the skip-shift rarely intrudes in on my driving style. I've noticed that smaller-engined cars with auto-tannies shift at beyond 2500 all the time, and those engines last over 200,000 miles - makes me not worry about shifting at 2300 or more.
