When I installed mine, the duct interfered with the bridge assay fully seating cause the power duct was a bit too long. I used an exacto knife to cut a small half circle into the duct on the drivers side to clear the raised area on the bridge. It fit very good after that.
Bill has the right solution - either try some vasoline to slip it over and use a pair of needle nose pliars to pull it over or just trim it a little bit to clear with a razor blade, exacto knife, or something similar...

I have seen people use oil, silicone and other petroleum products. The oil never goes away and some times the duct can slip off. If you need a lubricant try soapy water. Once it evaporates, it isn't slippery any more and stays on longer. Also get the duct warm by soaking it in hot water. That makes it more playable.
