After replacing my OPSU, I found that one of my hoses is on the verge of failure. I don't have a pic so i'll try to describe it:
It's about 1/2" wide rubber located on the passenger side front of the intake manifold. I believe there's a PCV valve in it. There's also a hairline crack in the plastic connection on the intake.

What is this hose and how important is it?
Sounds like PCV. How important is it? If it's damaged, replace it. Everything is important. Is there an alternative here? If someone told you it was not important, would you just leave it go, or would you repair the damaged part?
