Dealer had to remove rack & pinion to install new cam bolts. Do you need to do a wheel alignment after this proceedure? Center of steering wheel is now off. If I center the steering wheel, car goes to the right badly. Do I need a wheel alignment or does the rack & pinion need to be adjusted? Thanks.
If this was an extended warranty repair,, Take it back to the dealer and raise hell. Tell them the car drives poorly ( It didn't prior to the repairs) and you think it should have been corrected with the original repairs. If you continue to drive it like it is, you will wear the front tire/s out in a New York minute!
If they wont cover it, find a GOOD alignment shop in town and have them align it.

The replacement procedure calls for checking and adjusting the toe after installing the rack. It could be they didn't do this step correctly if at all.
