Default Vert roll bar....

Hello,

I am interested in getting into some forms of racing. 1/4 mile and SCCA or something with turns. I have yet to really check anything out as I know my car is not acceptable without a roll bar. SO....can anyone answer these two questions???

1. If I get a removable hardtop, does this qualify my car as a hardtop and make a roll bar unnecessary?

2. Is there anything that looks like the dual hoops, but constructed to be certified for these events. I think a regular roll bar in the vert doesn't look as elegant and makes it appear as a purpose built race car....which isn't all bad, of course. But, I am looking for something that integrates well, like the dual hoops....but is actually ADDING protection.

Thanks,
Allen

No That is only fiberglass and does not have the steel B piller roll hoop

Again NO. The roll hoop must be one continuous hoop, from one side to the other and must be atleast 2" above your helmet. and have two downward bars back attach to the frame.

All roll bars must be welded or have plate welded to the cars frame.

No double hoops are legal nor safe

Just received the Wolfe 6 point with movable side bars, black powder coated. Been too cold here(12-18 at night) to install it. Neverlift and ECS make them, but will only sell if you let them install-liability reasons I was told.
