i saw it on the corvettegarage website and i wanted to get your input on the kit. Is it work it and it says it will lower the rear end of the car 1.5 inches. Also does anyone have any pictures with this kit on their corvette. Just noticed it and wanted to see how nice and does it look alot better than stock

Don't waste your $$ on a kit. Go to a local fastener store or hardware and get grade 8 M14 x 8" or 1/2" x 8" bolts. These will lower your car much as you want.

I doubt you'll find any local hardware stores that carry grade 8, 14mm x 8" bolts. I've never even seen them that long at specialty vendors like McMASTER-CARR.
If you're going to use hardware fasteners for the rear bolts, other members have suggested using grade 8, 9/16" (fine thread) SAE bolts instead of 1/2" SAE. The extra diameter will reportedly slide through the oem rear bushings with a liberal application of your favorite lubricant.
The extra width may also reduce the chances of rear suspension failure by breaking the 1/2" hardware store bolts that some have experienced and reported here in the past.
In the end (pun intended) it's your car to do with as you please.

Yes, alignment is necessary. Camber is affected.

Yes, I'm aware that McMASTERS-CARR sells SAE bolts. I buy my fasteners in bulk from them. However, unless they've changed, they do not sell an oem size 14mm bolt in an 8" length.
The original poster doesn't need to buy a pair of 1/2" or 9/16" SAE fine or coarse thread bolts from them if he intends to use grade 5 or grade 8 (hopefully) SAE instead of metric. Those can be found at most well stocked hardware stores like ACE or TRUE VALUE.
