Been there. DONE THAT! Exactly the problem I had. Easy to do.

I have Stainless Works LTHs on my 02 and had lots of problems with front 02 sensor codes. I finally got a pair of rear 02 sensor adapters from LG Motorsports and put rear sensors in the front. No more problems. May be what you need. Also suggest that you use AC Delco sensors - not Bosch.

Those at the same headers I got. The Sensor mounting angle would make you think that they go crossed. Since I uncrossed them, the car runs smooth and the codes are gone. I'd say problem is solved.

I am in the middle of my LG long tube install, just so I am clear in my understanding;

The front sensors are placed in the bungs on the side of their respective connector, the rear sensors are connected by crossing the sensor into the bung opposite of the side the connector.

The bungs for the rear 02 sensors are still installed to the rear of the cats.

Correct??

Correct ! If you have a tuner, you can have the rear sensors tuned out and won't have to worry about them at all.

Usually yes. If you're upgrading your cats to high flow, many companies offer models with the O2 bung welded into the rear of the cat (...wow that sounded bad)

There's more room to the rear of the X to install the bungs, should they still be crossed?

It’s just so the wires/connectors don’t have to make a 180 deg bend. Installed the right rear sensor wires point to the left side and the left rear sensor wires point to the right side. I’m sure there is a picture somewhere on the forum. Its just a cleaner way to run the wires.
