Is this multiple choice or essay?

Humor aside I appreciate the info you are providing. I was just happy to see a cheaper alternative for those who wish to go that route. Of course no one including myself would want to spend $500 on a disaster, but it would be worth it if the product actually works as advertised (typically 20-30 rwhp gain hopefully and certainly no fires ). Seems hit or miss on these particular headers as you have said.
I just would not be willing to pay $1700 for new headers installed for a 30 rwhp gain so I went with the used header solution which has worked fine for me. Even though mine were name brand headers (TPIS), my mech still ended up creating a slight burn on one of my O2 sensors and my starter wire was fried from heat/positioning of the wire in proximity to the headers. Seems even these name brand ones can create issues depending on the experience of the mechanic as well although these ssautochromes seem more problematic on a wider scale. If they work fine for some, hope for the best for you. We should do a total on all those who purchased and list how many had issues compared to those who haven't. Maybe the other threads already did this although I'm not interested enough to check.
Good intel so far!
Interesting you have had similar problems with the tpis install as i have heard someone else say that these ssautochrome look like knock off tpis or tps not sure. SO i guess that is possibly why you had similar issues.

I've seen you post several times on different threads about the e-bay headers and tstar. seems like you have a personal problem with these headers that goes way beyond informing people I would like to know if you have personally installed a set or even have headers on your car?
forum members are getting good numbers with these headers and arent having the problems earlier models had,so what's wrong with that?
I;ve personally installed them and think they are a great product at a great price. So please stop trying to force your negative views on the rest of us who have bought and enjoyed this product without the excessive(corvette tax)

Go away

Facts are facts Tstar got a free setup

ssautochrome is using him to advertise and swing people their way

People still have the same problems, its called a pita. Ask ECS on their recent install

What's your story knowledgefreak; have a vested interest in one of the other companies? I see you profile is pretty empty, do you even have a Vette or old enough to drive? Move on, we all know about the ebay headers. Guys are just letting us know they've had a positive experience with them.

I'm glad you are happy, but I would be a bit miffed with my tuner at the very least...

Ms Eliz

I bet he dynoed on a MUSTANG DYNO not a DYNOJET, if he was on a dynojet he would have put down ~400 rwhp. 2 completly different dyno's. Your mods on a mustang dyno would be around ~355 rwhp (w/o spray)

it doesn't matter if he installed them or not. That's not the problem

The problem is that forum rules prohibit the sales or promotions of items not sold via paid forum vendors.

and in this case it's kinda obvious, and I'm surprised the thread hasn't already been locked.
