Default Headlight problem

For some reason yesterday when I turned on my 99 coupe the headlights came on but the switch wasnt touched. Now everytime the car starts the headlights turn on and the only way to turn them off is to turn the car off then use the switch. Also while the car is on the switch doesnt do anything. Anybody had this problem?? Any help would be great, Thanks in advance

Is your Twilight sentinel on? This is one of your configuration options that will turn on the lights automatically in the dark. If your ambient light sensor is covered, (little led-looking thing on top of the dash) It might think you are in the dark all the time now...

If your twilight sentinel is off I'd suspect an ambient light sensor failure (or maybe it fell out of its bracket). That way the car will think its dark and assume it needs lights.

If TS is on with middlebrookgt, its doing what its supposed to do.
