Default VORTEX intake question

I'm about to buy a used vortex ram air system (MAF w/ air foil, air box, and air bridge). It was installed at a car show (carsile?) so he doesn't have the template or instructions, i was wondering if anyone out there would send me a copy of the paperwork and template so i can install the system. If its too big to copy, if you send it to me, i will return it back to you, no problem, and pay for the costs of shipping it. I would greatly appreciate this.
Thanks a lot.

You really don't need the template. Just put your new system together, fit it on your car, and mark the holes in the shroud. Measure the inside of the box to see what size opening you need to cut inside the holes.

Here's ShanMan's Vortex install page:

Breathless Performance also has their own install page:

Also, Breathless has pre-cut shrouds if you want to go that route.

I had someone measure the template, and then I bought a sheet of posterboard, and made my own. It's easier to just stick the filter and upper box half onto the stock intake assembly, see where the holes lie, mark them with a white marker, and then drill/melt your holes. It's more accurate that way, and not really any more difficult.

:yesnod: Agree, the template is not really needed, use the assembled box as the template.

If you still want the template, I can measure mine and you can just cut one out of a piece of posterboard.
