I found the solution to my electrical problems!!!!!
My key fob wouldn't lock/unlock doors, p. door and windows didn't work on either side, and the right hand power mirror didn't work. I removed one of the grounding connectors found by the bcm, and I put it back in to ensure that it was properly seated. This solved all of my electrical problems! I hope this helps someone else.

Thanks for posting your findings... its members like you that keep me glued to the forum. Always picking up on info that most dealerships can't/won't deal with.

Thanks, it took me a while to find the solution. First I thought it was the battery, then I thought it was the BCM, then I thought it was the exposed wires in the door jamb, then I thought it was the grounding points. I'm just relieved that I found the solution.
I guess the lesson here is to thoroughly check all electrical connectors including grounds associated with the involved circuit(s) before replacing components.
Easier said than done. The GM car/year service manual is of great help here. Not to mention this forum.
It is never wasted effort whenever you inspect & repair connectors and grounds as this is preventive maintenance to head off future problems at the very least.
If you read Bill Curlee's sticky on electrical issues, it would have pointed to grounding issues being the #1 cause of electrical problems. He shows, in depth, areas to check with pictures and tips.
Bill is the "Go To" guy when it comes to electrical problems..

Just a heads Up

Yeah, I read the sticky, but it only pointed to grounding points on the chassis. It did not include grounding strips withing wiring circuits.

That's good!
There is a sticky on the grounds of our Vettes! They have a certain issue at times and once cleaned up they are like new

This is not one of the grounding points indicated by the service manual or Bill though. This is a small rectangular grounding strip located in the passenger side footwell by the bcm.

So the ground was just loose? ... or was it corroded, etc?
Those are the Serial Buss STAR connections. All the serial buss connections from each module and the ALDL connect there. Im surprised that the car even ran! Very important connections. Need to find out what made them come loose.

Only one of them was loose, so I guess that was the one the controlled all of the lock, window, and remote functions.
