Just got a HID kit from a popular auction site and I must say it is awesome. Best $140 bucks I've spent. There where no issues, plug and play and the improvment is awesome.Definitely recommend this upgrade for anybody that drives at night

Any issues with the headlights going up and down? There have been a couple of posts indicating the need to add a resistor to compensate for the lower wattage of the HID and still have the control work properly.

Nope. Worked great. I've read that about that issue and was hoping everything would be okay. I mounted the control units with the bracket that came with them on the screw that holds the turn signal lens in. Can't see anything different from stock. that is, until you turn the lights on, then WOW!

Can someone post the link. Should I even try the Silverstars or just go straight to the HIDs? Also can you turn on the hi and low beams together with HIDs or is that unnecessary? Do not underestimate my poor nite vision. I finally understand my dear Grandma's inability to see at night.

Car is down for another week. It seems like a good mod to do while it is sitting. May I have the link please?

Just my 2 cents, but I have looked at tons of the HID Kits on the bay and bought and installed a couple.
To me they all look pretty much the same........same size and style ballasts, same wiring, same connectors, etc.
No way would I pay one vendor $299, $199,
Maybe $99 shipped..........I got both of my kits for $70 each shipped. At that rate I can consider them disposable, like a set of OEM bulbs

Look at their feedback rating, read some of the feedback.
Look for their warranty, standard seems to be 1 yr exchange part for part.
And email them a question about the kit.........see how long it takes to get a response and how well they communicate.
Only buy from a vendor that says they can deliver then in under a week.

Just my opinion

Guys, I just did the HID mod myself and hands down the BEST $200+ bucks I've spent. I am the founder and Pres. of a 40+ member Rx-7 club of New Orleans, LA and one of my guys is a distributor for these kits. If you want to deal with someone reliable and trustworthy PM for his contact info.

Again, I've been in the Rx-7 scene for nearly 9 years and we are known across the country and this guy has been one of my members since the begining. So for peace of mind, this guy will deliver top notch product and customer service. True plug and play HID kits.

I'll post pics. of my MillYellZ so you can see what you're dealing with.

Ted A.

I'd love the link too.

I'm kinda wondering though.. if the vendor is a supporting one here, why all the secrecy about their link? Just post the damn thing!
