Pilot Bearing HELP!

Pilot Bearing HELP!
Any of you guys know which way the pilot bearing goes into the crankshaft? There are 2 ways it can go in

I believe (from recollection) that the more rounded side (leading into center hole) faces away from the motor (towards you).
Somebody else should confirm or deny..

The taper faces aft and the open bearing faces forward.

That still does not help me too much
Anyone else, I am putting this stuff in now and this is holding me up

Not to be a smartass.. but conventional wisdom would be able to tell you simply by looking at it.. Tapered side faces you..
Its a "Pilot" Bearing. Meaning it Guides.... The Tapered face would be 100 times easier to guide a shaft into it than the other side...
on doing your own install.. I wish I had the cajones to tackle a job like that..
