If it was only for a part of a second, then you may have only blown some fuses which I would expect. Assuming you checked all in the floor board area, make sure you look at the fuse box in the engine compartment. You may need to look at the backside of the fuse blocks too. Hint, disconnect the battery first.
Well the good news is that it was only a split second. Because when I jumped I let go of the pin and it fell off the wire. I don't think much if any current went to the adjacent wire. It had only a slight nick in the insulation.
This schematic you mention is it in the shop manual? Are there fuses elsewhere besides the two fuse panels?

I have been reading the shop manual's trying to make sense out of my problem. I came across instructions for removing and replacing the
face of the HVAC controller. It said once it was installed you had to reprogram the key less entry.
So I got to thinking the two "no comm" faults I got were for the HVAC and the RFA system. So I got to thinking some how I don't think they are getting power.
I also searched this forum and came across a post telling of getting the same codes as me and finding the problem was a faulty ignition switch. Again not getting power to the controller. So tomorrow I take apart the console and the instrument panel face and check as many wires as I can get my hands on.
I would still like to know if there are any other fuses or fusible links that I may check?
One last questing. I know we can read codes from DIC, but the manual always starts with telling you to connect a "scan tool". I gather this scanner will give you more info than the DIC is this correct? And what would I have to pay for one if I decide to go that route.

The no comm codes mean that the body control module is not recognizing the module (i.e. the data line).

There are no fusable links in those items.

A tech 2 scanner that they describe will set you back $2 - $3K used.

You may have damaged your BCM. You need to find someone or a shop with a Tech 2.

Don't waste your time taking apart the HVAC as that is not the problem.
