Default C5 Intercooled ProCharger system now available!

ATI has completed their 1997-2001 Corvette supercharger system. This kit features -

P-1SC-1 ProCharger with polished finish and polished brackets
Twin Highflow air to air intercooler
Power Programmer
38# injectors
Everything needed for a complete OEM quality installation.

The industry leading new intercooled supercharger system creates 535 horsepower at 7psi of highly efficient intercooled boost. The self contained P-1SC-1 ProCharger and twin highflow intercooler system together produce the coolest charge air temps and greatest reliable power gains as well as largest hp gains per pound of boost in addition to the standard 7# pulley, a 5# pulley which produces 490hp is available. The system is 100% complete including a customized power programmer for computer modifications and a set of 38# injectors. This system is also upgradeable to even higher power levels as both the P-1SC-1 and twin highflow intercooler system are capable of supporting in excess of 750 horsepower. For this with highly modified motors and/or wishing to do custom tuning, the intercooled serpentine Race Kit includes the D-1SC ProCharger and excludes the power programming and fuel injectors, but is otherwise identical to the HO Intercooled system.

Our introductory retail pricing for these kits is -

HO Intercooled system - $5899.99
Intercooled serpentine race kit - $5499.99

ATI may increase pricing in the future so these prices could change later. We'll have these kits listed on our website today and they will start shipping on December 14th!

intel55: We'll be installing a ProCharger on our '98Z shortly. It has an ARE built 409 stroker motor with an iron block and Stage II LS6 heads (8.9:1 compression). The motor can easily handle 15# of boost so you shouldn't have any problem running 10-15#.

wow that is great Tom!! Uggg the dollar bill are starting to move around my wallet :D

I am building a very similar enigne. 6.0 block with .030 over and 4.0 lunati crank for a 408. ARE stg3 heads and roller cam and other goodies.

What type of cam in temrs of duration would you use? Still a split duration say (for the radical guys) 240/250 ish on a 114?? Or would you be able to run a 112 better?

Also can you adjust the boost on the thing easily?? I have no idea what would be involved with this system to do that, could you tell me??

Could a ls1 sypder intake or derivative "fit" with this or maybe the weiand alum intake??
thanks.... :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

Also you said that this ATI charger will easily handle 750hp... is that rear wheel?? If so, how do you get there?? Running 15 psi or so? would are you guys doing or would recommend to improve the fuel system? Walbros??

thanks again...I am giddy..hahah :yesnod:

This looks like a good kit to buy. If I already have mods on my car can I expect higher HP numbers?

It's about time that a manufactuerer got wise and offered performance at a reasonable price. What a platform to build on!

I'm running a cam with 112 cam with 558/578 lift. Very noticeable and will work great with the blower. Boost is adjusted with a pulley change. I'll be able to get more info tomorrow and hope to get pictures of the kit installed. I'm looking at a black and white fax right now so things aren't to clear. I also need to see if these numbers are rear wheel or flywheel. The 5# f-body kits usually show about a 110hp gain and about 145+ for the 7#. So that would lead me to believe the numbers they are quoting are at the flywheel (416 rwhp with the 5# pulley and 455 rwhp with the 7#). I'd upgrade to a Walbro pump if your running a big cube motor. You want to make sure enough fuel is supplied.

Other mods will work well with this kit. Anything you can do to help the car breath better will increase performance. Exhaust mods would be a good benefit.

Big horsepower cars might have to use a pin kit to keep the crank pulley from slipping. I had to do this on the Z after the 409 went in.

Heh Tom is this kit similar to the Camaro kit. What I'm wondering is what kind of changes have to be done for the oil. Does it have it's own oil or does it pull from the oil pan. Also where is the air filter located on this system. I have concerns about it being too low and picking up water or debri. One last question where does the actually blower mount. Right side, left side , high low... Also how long would it take for delivery. Thanks for the help.

Heavyd: Ahh, more questions to add to the list :) I'm here late waiting for an install to be finished. The fax came in a few hours ago so that's all I have to go by right now. The blower that they use is self contained so you won't have to tap into the oil pan (big relief!). You just have to change the fluid in the unit every 6000 miles. The kit looks to be mounted on the passenger's side and I'll have to find out where they are picking air up from. The top of the motor with the kit on it looks pretty clean.

ATI is supposed to start shipping on December 14th. The first kits ordered will be the first to go out. Looks like we have one order in already and I have a local customer that will do anything to get a supercharger on his C5 so things are starting to move quickly. I'll update this thread with more info tomorrow.

Thanks,
Tom
