On a side note, I believe a certain Avatar here, needs to be "patted" down.....

As stated, it's a good time to do a pulley upgrade. If you are planning on having a cam install, now is the time to do so because the pulley install will be part of it, thus free labor.

I checked the pulleys this weekend...and they didn't have any wobble. Looked brand new.

If fact...there was no squeek either

I really hope it's just the stupid belt.

You are a lucky man.

As for the issue at hand, mind has a slight squeak most of the time, but when it gets wet it is horrible.

I hate to have to change the HB and may just try the belt first. HB looks like a huge chore that will eat an entire Saturday (maybe event he entire weekend).

If i go with an undersized pulley do i need to get a different belt as well?

Mike, you need a different main belt with an underdrive pulley, but the A/C belt shouldn't change. The pulley is a major job, but people have reported major disasters with the OEM pulley coming apart. If you decide to do it, put a pin in the crank to keep the pulley from backing off the crank. You'll find lots of posts about this if you do a search.
