Now that is the best sounding after market cat back exhaust that I've ever heard! Might have to install the system on my 2001 ZO6.

But I want to get back on the Dyno Jet to see the gains with the G5X3 114 LSA cam (in place of the very weak 229/242/.630/.630/114 LSA brand X camshaft), before installing the 3" exhaust in place of the stock T1 system.

Well the little I drove the car, there was little to no drone inside. Heavy throttle in 6th gear at 1200 RPM, yes there is a little drone, but most of us would shift into 5th if we wanted hard acceleration, I was just doing it as a test.

Interior noise is not much different than the Ti systems, just a little louder.

Can you tell us the weights? I am now running a Ti system on a 403 with 1 7/8" headers into a catted 3" xpipe. I feel this system would give a good bump to the power and torque. It would be nice to have a reference.

I believe they are 12lbs heavier than the Titanium system....but almost anything is going to be heavier than that (Ti system).

Any benefit of this system on a setup that is smaller diameter up front? A lot of us are running other systems and it would also be good to know if there is benefit to adding this to my current system or whether I would need to change from the motor back.

Interested in the weight too

Looks Nice! I only wish it was louder. Do you have any plans to make a system for those of us more hard core types????? With smaller and lighter Borla Stinger type mufflers?????

Those were awsome numbers for just a cat back.. I'll have to put those on my list of things to buy. I generally have bad luck when it comes to HP #'s. I swapped out the airfilter for a K&N, the exhaust for LG headers and added B&B bullets and a tune and only got 19 rwhp. Maybe AZ air isn't as good as TX air...

Hi Joe,
When I read your post I was reminded of when I bought my 04 as a new car. It's a Coupe so I had the LS1. Since then my car is no where close to the factory offering (see my sig) but your post reminded me of something. When I began making mods to my car I wanted to start with headers but my tuner (21st CMC) told me that the LS1/6 gets it biggest gains from a cam change. I have come to believe that this is true and that its probably because the heads breathe so much better than previous generations of the small block.

So, I could not help but wonder, what other changes have you made to your car? If the rest of the motor is as shipped I think your current mods will come into their own if you ever make a cam change.
