New Weiand Intake
Has anyone heard if the new Weiand intake has hit the “street” yet?

I don't think it's out yet. I'm eagerly waiting to see some real world results though.

From the many threads, on a couple boards, talk is that it's supposed to be out any day now.

That's the same story Edelbrock is using on their new water pump.

Uh oh, not a good sign. They're probably trying to figure out how to get
actual performance up to par with the
purported performance.

My guess would be growing pains with the fabrication and obtaining a consistent result. Not an easy task.

All kinds of rumours flying around about this! I have sent 3 emails to Holley, who is suppose to be carrying the new intake and they won't return any emails on this subject. Sucks! They were at Sema and put out a video on the manifold and now nothing?!

Joe,
1. The intake should be avaliable by the end of April.
2. This intake is an increase over the LS6 intake but you will not see any gains over the FAST intake on the top end.
3. The intake is setup for only the 90mm tb.
4. unless you have an adapter plate to go from the 3 bolt pattern to the 4 bolt. 5. Unfortunately we do not have a concrete price on the intakes at this time.
Thanks, Darrell
Here is email from Holley

Wonder if that intake will work well with a supercharged engine...any idea...I seen that video and it talks up a good and impressive intake with 32 RWHP over the LS6 intake...
thanx

It should work just as well with a supercharged engine as the runner design should still help in the 2200 to 6200 range.
