it is not the aiming so much but that you are putting hid lights in standard housing not made for hid lights. You are suppose to use projector lights to avoid the bleed off and hot spots.
The really do blind people quite painfully
While i do agree, lets not get into the "OEM reflector vs Projector" argument. I will say that there's a bulb shield you can get that signficantly reduces glare to oncoming traffic. It's a half tube shield that goes on the underside of the capsule and is rather effective.

I'm happy to even the 'score' after being blinded by every damn SUV/Truck with their super bright lights. I swear everyone in Texas has to put the brightest lights to make their single cab chevy cool. Its fine but honestly I can't use a single mirror when they're behind me.

-end rant.
Sorry...one of those people was probably me...
I have since evolved into a semi-courtious driver when it comes to optics.
Got mine from ebay for $95 shipped w/ 2 yr warrenty but the guy does not answer my questions Oh well at least I didnt pay $300 for the same ones. BTW dont buy from the guy offering the 2 yr warrenty (there is only 1 of them)
I just recently ordered two sets: Fogs and low beams. I got them at the auction site for $130 and change shipped for the pair. Yes, that's two sets for a buck thirty and change. Granted, they dropped shipped from China, but they got to me in exactly one week.
I got the fogs installed and the difference was insane. Going to do the headlights this weekend.

I have to agree with you. I went with the ACA Projector HID's. I know they were a lot more expensive, but I felt it was the responsible thing to do. HID bulbs in standard housings scatter blinding bright light all over. Besides, I didn't see the logic behind blinding people that are heading towards me.
how did you guys install so fast and what all did you guys remove for the install? Took me hours to install mine...opened up the panels unerneath and there was no room for me to reach the stock bulbs and put the new ones in...so i ended up taking the headlight covers off...then the black covers that go around the lights unbolting that bolt on top and then the three that hold the headlights to the brackets....then i had some room to work with...not it seems like my pass side is right and my drivers side is pointing low and right....if i adjust will it make my drivers high beam too high cuz they seem right....maybe ill remove the HID bulb on that side and make sure its sitting flat...any tips for a quicker install though...having done it it would go much faster but there has to be an easier way to get to these lights...and wheres the adjustment screws
thanks
Kurt

Remove the three phillips screws to pull off the plate surrounding the headlight, and the four torx head screws holding on the headlight cover.
Then remove the two headlight hinge bolts found here:
By doing this, you can lift the back of the light up and fold the headlight down into the pocket, like this:

This gives you access down to the fog light, too. Remove this bolt to remove the fog light assembly:
I had already installed a set of aftermarket PIAA driving lights with a relay kit, so installing HID's in the stock fog light location was painless. I'll probably install the HID low beams this weekend.
Let me know if you would like any other pictures or a better explanation about anything.
looks a fair bit easier than the way i did it...the reason for taking off the panels underneath was to install the balasts....now what about for adjusting? And telling if theyre adjusted correctly any way/angle their supposed to be...like i said it appears my pass headlight looks good i think but my drivers seems aiming low and right...not terribly but i think its low...thanks for the detailed response....could you send me any bigger pics/non downsized? I saved them and zoomed in but it just gets worse looking
