I think Bigtoe's comment about power braking maybe the problem. It has never stumbled between gears, so I don't think I have ever hit the rev. limiter.
Well you guys were right on the money.
Power brake with TC/AH on, stumbles and almost dies.
No power brake with TC/AH on, left ok, very slight tire spin, no info on DIC.
Comp. Driving on, no stumble, spun pretty good, even got a little outta shape and chirped hitting 2nd. Maybe the cooler air and running it like it should be really makes a difference. No big smokey burnout, I guess that will come with mods.

Yes, the PCM takes driving style into consideration for tuning. The harder you drive the car the better it will run because the PCM will be setup for maximum performance in regards to timing advance.
