Bulb issue

. Assumig you're not holding the glass of the bulb when youre installing it its probably a broken housing. Constant use of the DRLs can cause overheating and crack the plastic housing.
Take the light unit out of the housing and give it a good look over. You'll probably need to open the panel under the nose to get at it. You'll almost certainly find a crack or a hole which is letting the water in. Try silicon sealant to seal the crack and then put the unit back in. You should then go through less bulbs.
For what its worth I've inhibited the DRLs. Easiest way is to pull the A2 fuse. That way you only light the bulbs when turning. I'm still on the original bulbs after over 5 years.

I did replace ALL rear tail/stop bulbs when one blew and another went about a month later. that was about a year ago.
