Default Bulb issue

Just wanted to know if anybody had an idea to why my turn signal bulb keeps on burning out. I have been using the sylvania bulbs but am going to try something different.

Common problem.Usually the light housing collects water.Seal it up or buy a new housing.Even if you don't drive in the rain it gets wet when you wash the car.
Good luck.

.

Assumig you're not holding the glass of the bulb when youre installing it its probably a broken housing. Constant use of the DRLs can cause overheating and crack the plastic housing.

Take the light unit out of the housing and give it a good look over. You'll probably need to open the panel under the nose to get at it. You'll almost certainly find a crack or a hole which is letting the water in. Try silicon sealant to seal the crack and then put the unit back in. You should then go through less bulbs.

For what its worth I've inhibited the DRLs. Easiest way is to pull the A2 fuse. That way you only light the bulbs when turning. I'm still on the original bulbs after over 5 years.

78K on the odometer and the front TS/DRLs are just FINE.
I did replace ALL rear tail/stop bulbs when one blew and another went about a month later. that was about a year ago. BIGHANK

The housing that the bulb goes into cracks right above the bulb ( common ). When it rains or wash car the water drips on to the bulb. I put some of that metal a/c tape over the crack and have had no problems yet.
