Reasonable Cam ONLY install price???
Well, I am craving more horsepower, but I don't want to spend H/C money. I checked with the local dealer because they are very close and "mod friendly"........they quoted me $1300 for labor ONLY for a cam install. What do you guys think? Seems steep to me, but I will have to take it quite a ways to get it installed somewhere else (Lingenfelter, etc.). Anyone in the Columbus, OH area with a better idea/contact? Thanks. :D

Yeah, that is what I thought.......so, what has everyone payed for cam only? Maybe if I get a consensus from everyone here then I can weigh my options a little better. :confused:

I am paying $750 for a cam and Underdrive pully install this wednesday at Speedworks in Lewisville.
That is the going price around "BIG D"

What was MTI's last drive out group buy on Cam install. Anyone remember. I am actually going to Houston in january and am considering having them do a T1 with pully install if its not to pricey. I went to their shop while I was down a few months back and they seem to be VERY busy and know what they are doing.

They did do the before and after dyno for me and I didn't even ask for it :D I picked up about 37RWHP with the T1 cam and pulley. Currently, the PCM still hasn't been reprogrammed so it does idle a little rough (in my opinion). So far, it has stalled on me few times but beside that....IT HAUL A$S:D
